Wow! That friggin sucks! To say the least.
It sounds like what happened to myself and another of your Timex team mates, Jess Petersson. She and I where up on a quiet (so we thought) mountain top in May, just two weeks before IM Lanzarotte. Around the corner comes a motor cycle , he crosses into our lane misses me and runs right over her, narrowly missing taking her completely over the side of the mountain. Well now it is Dec and she still can not compete. Finally they have figured out she has a torn Patella. Jess now has basically given up racing and training and left the states and is moving back to England tomorrow to try and find a real job!
Not trying to bring you down, just wanted you to know that someone else out there, even on your team feels your pain.
