Home made granola… mmm

6 fl oz honey
125g olive spread (original recipe had unsalted butter!)

500g rolled oats
sunflower seeds/pumpkin seeds/flaked almonds/dried fruit of choice ..
1.5tsp vanilla essence

First melt the honey, margarine and add the vanilla essence. Mix in your choice of seeds and nuts and whack in the oven approx 170/325 for 25mins … I laid out the mix over a few baking trays so that they toast nicely. Don’t add the dried fruit until after it has come out of the oven.

Good for any time of day. But be warned. My first batch of this got demolished within a day!
