Recently I had a couple of great Timex clinics at 2 REI locations here in Colorado.  The first one was at REI in Westminster and had a great turnout of about 12 employees.  I brought my Run Trainer, Training Peaks screen shots and explained to the staff the benefits of the watch as well as other Timex products.  I went over the benefits of the Run Trainer vs. Garmin and the New Nike GPS watch as well.  I got lots of questions and it was great for the staff to try on the watch and know how to sell it to customers.  The common theme among the group was that they really liked how light it was on their wrists.  Another selling point they liked was that the Run Trainer has SirfStar IV, a considerable upgrade from version III with the Global Trainer.  I gave benefits of both the Global and Run Trainer and most all the staff benefited greatly from gaining more insight to why Timex is THE best choice! 

 The second clinic was at the Ft. Collins REI where teammate Wendy Mader and we talked at length about all Timex products with an emphasis on the Run Trainer.  We spoke about a lot of the similar selling benefits, and got a lot more questions.  The staff was very interested in the Training Peaks software and how it is free to customers.  They really felt like that was a big selling point and Wendy did a great job of talking about her athletes use of the watches. 

We also pulled a few watches from their stock including the Health Tracker and Tap watches.   We talked about how Timex has a fit for all athletes, and they loved the way you can check your heart rate on the Health Tracker while the watch is still in the box, and even on the rack! 

Overall, they were great successes and the staff saw a lot of value!  I have a few more retail clinics coming up and will give a recap as soon as I have then complete.
