Timex professional, Lauren Goss once again landed on the podium last weekend after racing the half iron distance triathlon at Rev3 Portland. The only two women to finish before Lauren were multiple Ironman 70.3 champion, Angela Naeth and multiple Ironman and Ironman 70.3 champion, Meredith Kessler. For a young professional who specializes at the Olympic distance, Lauren’s performance was quite impressive. The Clemson grad swam a 29:03, biked a 2:41:32 (20.8 mph average) and ran a very respectable 1:25:52 (6:33 minute mile average) to finish third in a time of 4:38:25. I sat down with Lauren for a one on one post race interview to go over her day.
