Viktor Zyemtsev won his third Ironman Coeur d’Alene two weeks prior to racing the half iron distance race at Rev3 Portland. I was there when Viktor finished first in North Idaho and was there again to see him cross the finish line third in Portland, Oregon.  At Rev3, Viktor swam a 29:42, biked 2:22:45 (23.5 mph average) and ran a blazing 1:11:15 (5:26 minute mile average) to finish third overall in a time of 4:05:34.  I sat down with Viktor for a one on one post race interview afterwards for the interview below.
