The first ever Ironman assignment as a t.v. news reporter was in 2007 at the Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene.  I was still an Ironman virgin at that point.  Ironically, it was because of that experience, reporting live from the finish line, that I signed up for my first of two Ironman races.

And get this, my first ever post race interview was with Viktor Zyemtsev.  Little did I know at the time that I would see Viktor return to Coeur d’Alene in 2012 and win again!?
