Triathletes receiving Timex Race Trainer Pro

Presentation by Ronnie Barnes
Tonight the Timex Multisport Team, celebrating its tenth season, kicked off training camp at the Timex Performance Center, headquarters to the NFL’s New York Football Giants. Almost fifty multisport athletes from across America and around the world convened for this annual event. The evening started with a tour of the facilities, which included the Team Meeting Room, broadcast TV studio, weight training room, locker room and field house.
Following dinner in the Timex Performance Center cafeteria, athletes, members of the press and Timex staff and associates gathered for the welcoming presentation in the Team Meeting Room. Ronnie Barnes, VP of Medical Services for the NY Giants, spoke of the importance of properly conditioning and training to prevent and care for injuries. He revealed that the most common football injuries he sees were parallel with the most common injuries triathletes have to contend with.
The presentation wrapped up with a surprise: Timex’s Favorite Things, in which each team member received the new Timex Race Trainer Pro along with other gifts.
Timex welcomes the multisport team members of 2011 and wishes them a successful and competitive year.
