What would you do with $100,000 if you won Hawaii?
Keep on dreaming - and go back to school full time

Anything else we should know about you?
Competing as a professional athlete or at the amateur level requires motivation, dedication… With a full-time career as the Canadian Forces National Physical Fitness Coordinator, I have to balance life, training and a very demanding job.

Everyday I’m asked why I work so hard and so many hours at my passion when I may never win the big race? They say I’m too old and it’s time to focus on my good job.

Perhaps I may never stand atop of the podium, but I’m driven to do the best I can and in turn will do the best to support anyone who sets out to exceed their limits.

The true spirit of athletics is not necessary about winning; it’s about being a part and doing your best. When I’m near exhaustion at the end of a race, I tell myself there are so many things in life that I set myself to do and I will let nothing come between me and my dreams.

2006 is dedicated to my father who passed away from cancer in 1991. He has never seen me race, but I know he is always with me.

“Quitting is definitely not an option!”
